The league season kicked off in style as our Ophir Youth Girls took to the pitch for their opening round matches.

Here is how the action unfolded across our age groups:

Under 16s: A fantastic performance from our U16 amalgamation team. The girls hit the ground running with a strong display, securing a brilliant win to start their league campaign on a high note.

Under 14s: Our U14s faced a tough test against a strong Ards side. Despite coming up second best, the squad showed immense heart, grit, and determination throughout the match.

A special mention goes to the many players stepping up and experiencing their very first full 15-a-side match - a massive milestone.

A huge well done to all the Ophir girls and our amalgamation teammates for your outstanding effort and teamwork

It was a thrilling start to the season, and there is plenty more to look forward to.
