Saturday saw the first visit for the Cubs to Carrickfergus, this saw the whole of the section head away, and it was another day of fun, laughs and development of our club.

Lots for enjoyment and fun was had by all the children involved in sequence of mini games and matches, with all the kids getting stuck in, learning and making new friends.

With the numbers in this group continually growing for the Cubs, this group is developing well, this saw a great performance from all the cubs, showing their passing and handling skillset.

With low numbers for the cubs, after the loan of a few players from the hosts, this matchup saw a competitive match up, with the Cubs shining through with some great tackles and try’s from Daniel Ringland, Daniel Kerr, and Lucus. Keep it up!!

This match was against an extremely strong and aggressive Carrick side, with the Cubs being up against it from the start, with the hosts enjoying sustained periods of play. The Cubs had to dig deep which resulted in a gutsy performance from the boys.
The home team didn’t have everything their own way, with outstanding performances from Ethan, Jude and Cody (only in his second week at the club). The Cubs never gave up and produced some amazing tackles, rucking, runs determination and effort. With a few try’s that the pros would be proud off!!
Well done boys, keep the heads up!

This saw a much improved performance for the girls and boys with a few of the home team adding to the ranks, with a “Try-fest” of a match, and a stand out performance from Lady of the match Sophie, with the rest not far behind. A great bounce back performance from this group, Well done!
