After last week's win, the 1st XV failed to stamp their authority on Civil Service, who started the game with a point to prove.
The visitors were quick out of the blocks, scoring early after a tough fight with the Ophir defence. Two more trys followed without reply before half time.
Ophir grew into the game in the second half, with Callum Crease converting a try from back row Jamie McCafferty. Shortly after, the game was tied up with a controversial break away try from Service, finished off in the corner.
After this week's disapointment, Ophir now look ahead to next Saturday, with the U20s side attending a tournament in Carrick with high hopes.
