The Ophs welcomed Lisburn 2nds to kick-start the new season.
Ophir got off to a poor start riddled by penalties which eventually led to the hosts receiving a yellow card and conceding two early tries
After a poor opening 20 minutes, Ophir slowly grew into the game, a big hit from Out-half Ronan Sands seemingly set the tone for an Ophir comeback. Two well-worked tries finished off by Captain Josh Collins showed a glimmer of hope, but the Ophir men were unable to build on this, with Lisburn punishing the home side for their poorly organised defence.
Ophir will be looking to come back strong in their first away game of the season next week at Belfast Harlequins.
