The Ophs were slow out of the gates conceding two early tries however the team showed resolution to fight back. This led to a try not long later for the Ophs with Calum Crease offloading to Liam Cosgrave to put the full-back in the corner after an impressive run. Liam the converted his own try.
Not long later after building on this momentum, there was some great hands from the Ophs which led to a break from Jack McCann. This eventually resulted in Jamie McCafferty powering over the line for the Ophir men to level the score and the teams went into half-time with Cooke only 5 points up after scoring one more time just before the break.
The second half wasn't as pretty, however, as a combination of unsustainable work and injuries for the Ophir men meant Cooke were able to put the foot down and keep building on their efforts in the first half resulting in an unflattering scoreline for the Ophir men.
