The Ophs travelled to Dungannon for their penultimate league fixture of 2021.
The Ophir men started off trying to bring intensity to the match and defended well against a dynamic Dungannon attack. However, this couldn't last forever and Dungannon managed to break the deadlock. Being not much off the pace the Ophir men chose to kick a penalty, with Josh Taylor picking up the only points of the day for the Ophs. As the first half progressed Ophir managed to pick up two injuries and both sides picked up a yellow card each in a tough first half for the Ophs as the home side picked up tries.
Things took a turn for the worst in the second half as Ophir picked up more injuries and ended up with less than 15 on the pitch for a significant portion of the second half. However, the Ophs fought with heart in the second half and despite the result put in an honourable performance, given the circumstances.
