The team started by allowing a couple of early scores in with a lack of defensive communication and soft tackling leaving the Ophs exposed. However, the young side grew into the game, showing confidence in possession despite the home sides aggressive defensive line.
Patience saw Ophir grab their only score of the game shortly before full time, as Ronan Sands spotted a rare gap and ran in near the posts.
The game was tight in the second half, the away side becoming more physical, especially at ruck time.
The game ended in disappointment for the Ophs, nonetheless, there was plenty to build on.
