Ophir Rugby 2nd XV, newly supported by Autotrim (http://www.autotrimbelfast.co.uk/), much improved against PSNI.
Despite being short of a couple of players, Ophir Seconds also started their match against PSNI very well; Dean McNeill putting the home side ahead with a try after 10 minutes. Hooker Sam Wylie converted and then added a successful penalty before PSNI hit back with an unconverted try. Ophir led 10 - 5 at half time and increased their lead to 15 - 5 early in the second with a well worked try from Andrew Carson. But then the game changed and PSNI increasingly found gaps in the stretched Ophir defence. Their out half ran in a couple of excellent tries, and before the final whistle three more were added by the visitors to win the game by 36 points to 15.
